Bodog Interviews Notorious Poker Blogger "Sir Waffles"

"Get in the head of the delusional Wawfuls ... "
One of the industry's most infamous poker bloggers and the guest bounty player in the November 20th Bodog blogger tournament is the notorious Sir Waffles.
Bodog recently caught up with him in an interview to find out how it is that he came to be the object of such scrutiny in what would seem to be a never ending harmless game of online poker blogger controversy.
The Bodog Poker Blogger: What do think makes you the biggest "donkey" in the world of poker blogging?
Waffles: It is all the hatahs. Everyone is soooo jealous of my brilliance that they have to try and degrade me to make themselves feel better as they lose that ten cent SNG they are playing.
BPB: How did the name "WAFFLES"come about and what's the meaning behind your Bodog screen name "FishEater2000"?
Waffles: The name 'Waffles' was coined by AlCantHang. It potentially could refer to my 'waffling' account balance as I strive for breakeveneness. FishEater2000 has no meaning. I just wanted a different name on Bodog.
BPB: What made you start a poker blog and what do you enjoy most about blogging?
Waffles: When I am gone off the face of this earth all my brilliant poker knowledge and strategy will live on. I am hoping through my blog to find a worthy successor to my beauty, brains, and poker acumen. So far all I have found is a bunch of donkeys.
BPB: Why do you think other poker bloggers call you the "worst player ever"?
Waffles: Jealousy and hatred fuels it all. Only Bodog truly recognizes the genius that is my online poker play. They alone have grouped me with Rizen and Evy Ng. Two well known and respected pro players. Obviously they realize that I am more skilled than these two and thus have offered a bounty on my head.
BPB: Who do you think is your biggest rival in the Bodog blogger series and do you think this person is just waiting for the opportunity to take the bounty on your head?
Waffles: Everyone is waiting to take the bounty on my head. I mean did you see the horrible play in the last Bodog game? People calling huge raises to catch one outters on the river. They think if they knock me out and take my bounty that they can discourage me, but I will not be defeated. As far as rivals, I have none.
BPB: What do you like best about the structure of the Bodog blogger series and if you could change anything about this series what would that be?
Waffles: The Bodog series is great. I think it is awesome that Bodog has gotten behind some of the worst players in the world and given them bounties and T$ in excess of anything they could ever expect to make themselves. Bodog should really be praised by poker bloggers. I like that fact that the Bodog blogger tourneys have a good starting stack and a decent amount of time between levels. This allows the nits to be picked on longer and have their stacks picked out from under them until they have no chips to jam their Aces with. The $25 online casino credit is also awesome. When I won it I took the chip and ran it up to 300 before busting it out lol.
BPB: What can you tell us about our blogger series host "Smokkee" that we don't already know?
Waffles: I really do not know much about Smokkee. I met him a few times and only talked to him to get close to his lovely woman LoveElf. Now she is an awesome woman who is smart, intelligent, beautiful and a real joy to talk to. The only mistake she made in her life would be Smokkee. Poor woman will be paying for that for a loooong time.
BPB: In your opinion, please provide answers to the following:
What poker blogger is the most skilled poker player?
Poker has many facets. As far as cash game expertise guys like MiamiDon and PokerGnome are really good. Hoyazo, LJ, Sucko have made some of the most consistent MTT wins.
Who has the best poker blog for entertainment purposes?
Dr. Pauly and the Tao of Poker is always very entertaining. If you have not read his adventures in the Hooker bar, you really should.
In person, who is the most attractive poker blogger?
I would have to say CarmenSinCity is the most attractive looking poker blogger I have met so far.
BPB: Who has been your favorite guest poker pro so far in the Bodog blogger series and who else would you like to see play the tournament?
Waffles: So far I think there have only been two. I would have to say poker pro Evelyn Ng is my favorite because she is a dominate poker player in a mostly male dominated field. She did not let anything hold her back and she is one of the top poker players out there … plus she's HOT!
BPB: What's the craziest thing you have ever done while playing online poker?
Waffles: I played a whole MTT naked before. That was a lot of fun. When the tourney finished so did I.
BPB: Were you surprised when Bodog approached you to be a bounty in one of our blogger tournaments?
Waffles: No. It really was only a matter of time before a major poker site invited me to be a guest pro. I expect the offers to become a named player with many sites will be coming in soon.
BPB: Where do you stand with how Google has been treating poker bloggers these days?
Waffles: Google can kiss my a**. I can understand them wanting to get rid of the shill sites but they did it totally wrong. I mean when I try and search for specific Bloggers names and get sites that repackage original content instead there is something wrong. They need to rethink what they want to accomplish.
BPB: What can you tell us about yourself that the world doesn't already know?
Waffles: I am a very open person and there is probably nothing I have not told people. If there is I am sure it will come out later. Here is a list of 100 things you might not ever want to know about Waffles that I wrote a while ago.
BPB: Any last words?
Waffles: Never eat soggy waffles. Also, thanks to Bodog for recognizing me as a poker pro and I look forward to collecting my own bounty.
